2019 AQHA Red Dun Gelding AQHA #6103208 IJ Steel Dust Poco x LXH Quixote Sophie (Freckles Mr Mac) 14.3 hands $12,500.00 "Dunny is an easy going gelding that stands around 14.3 hands that is a horse for the whole family!! Horses like him don't come around very often and they are hard to find for under 20k. Dunny is truly the trail rider's dream horse that could also be used to show on the weekends that he's not being used for trail rides!! Dunny stays broke with time off!! This gelding has been put through a lot the past couple of weeks and has not let us down proving to keep his sanity. He went to town for the first time and took it all in stride. He was used to help rope runaway roping steers which had gotten out of the fairgrounds area that wandered onto the highway and Dunny did it like an old pro!! He is a sure footed, easy riding, and good minded horse with a lot of potential that is gentle and quiet!! He likes cattle and would make someone a good ranch horse and has the size and substance to be an excellent switch end rope horse. He would make an excellent turn back horse for the cutters, he would be excellent for team penning, team sorting, ranch riding classes, perfect for ranch trail, he would be great for the extreme cowboy competitions, he would even be a good candidate for western dressage, and so much more!! The best part is that This gelding was started later in life and therefore wasn't ridden too hard when he was younger. Being started later, he has proven to be very smart and easy to train!! He is good with tarps, drag anything behind him, crosses water, goes wherever he is pointed, stands to be mounted, easy to saddle and bridle, and is good with his feet. He has been used to work and pony colts as well as help halter break them. You do not want miss out on this truly solid and honest gelding. We purchased this gelding from his breeder.
