2017 Grade Bay Quarter Pony Mare
Scarlet
No Registry
Scorpion x Quarter Pony Mare (Unknown)

13.1 hh
aka
"Scarlet"
Bred to Cee Sandys Cutter for 2022
Scarlet is a really nice looking mare with that perfect blood bay coat and she is the true Quarter Pony type. She doesn't have a white hair on her and she is stout. Scarlet is very easy to deal with despite not being halter broke, she is fairly friendly in the pasture. Her sire Scorpion was a wild stallion that came off the badlands that was only around 13.1 hh. He was started and then he was put on a band of mares for a season and then he was sold. Scorpion was a really smart, athletic shapey sorrel stud with a baby doll head that he stamped on all his babies and we really regret selling him because of how his colts have turned out. Scorpion was more of a one person's type of horse since he was wild for 5-6 years before we acquired him which didn't make him the ideal ranch stallion that anyone could ride but his colts were smart and easy to get along with. We kept three fillies back and two geldings from his foal crop which one of the geldings is the spitting image of this filly!!! Unfortunately there are not any pictures of the other two fillies right now but will be this summer as one of the sisters had a foal this year. This filly and her brother will hopefully be put in a driving team this summer or fall!! Picture of Scorpion below. Also Pictures below is a sister that was sold.
