Alice is a kind hearted mare that absolutely loves attention. She comes up to us out at pasture, follows us around everywhere as we check on the rest of the mares and foals and adores it when we put our toddler on her back!! Alice may never be sound enough to ride because she had been injured bad enough in her shoulder/elbow from a kick by another horse this past spring. She walks easily but when she trots, she trots with a hitch and she doesn't like to hold a lope for long periods of time but she does keep up at the back of the herd or will catch up when they are done running. She holds her own in the herd and isn't a total underdog. She has gotten better as the summer has gone by. If someone wanted to spend the time and money on her to see if she would be sound to ride, she might be. Buyer is completely welcome to do an ultrasound and have a vet evaluate her at their expense.
